The Econometrics Lab is a computing environment for faculty and graduate students at the University of Illinois.


The Econometrics Lab is composed by two servers: Ragnar e Ysidro. They were named after Ragnar Frisch and Francis Ysidro Edgeworth.

The center piece is Ragnar,  a server with two Intel Xeon X5660 six-core (12-thread) 2.80 GHz processors and 64 GB of memory. Ragnar currently uses Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7 as its operating system and provides access to recent versions of R, Stata, SAS, Mathematica, and MATLAB. 

The Econometrics Lab is located in 126 David Kinley Hall.
